Web Site Analytics Webinar For Hospitals

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. We also have another blog you may be interested in reading. If you have decided that you like us and want to talk more, contact our sales team. They would love to talk. Thanks for visiting!

If you missed our webinar today on web site analytics, and why it is important for hospitals to measure what goes on within their web site, you can view the video here. You can also go to our Healthcare Webinar Channel on Blip.tv.

One thing we stressed was the importance of measuring what happens on your website, and to be able to communicate that activity to the people who make strategic decisions within your hospital. 80% of people go online to find health information, you will need to be able to see what your share of that 80% is doing on your site, and determine what you will do to increase your traffic and website budget.

As I stated in the webinar, numbers can tell the story and are actually quite poetic when used wisely.

We will be presenting the webinar again next Wednesday, May 4th, if you would like to watch it live.

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Paul, our CEO, will be in Houston June 20th presenting on social media, and how to use this new phenomenon when communicating with patients and potential patients. I guess this is what happens when you provide too much information on your Facebook profile.

Social media—including blogs and interactive websites—is the future of marketing. Other industries have adopted Web 2.0, but the healthcare sector has been slow to engage in social marketing as a strategy.

Our panel of experts will attempt to demystify Web 2.0. Using case studies, they will explain how to get started harnessing social media in order to reach various healthcare audiences: patients & their families, doctors, nurses, clinical and non-clinical caregivers. They will explain how to take your website to the next step and utilize interactive web feedback to market your practice or product.

If you are an AMA member, and happen to be in Houston that morning, go check it out. It will be entertaining…
