The news just came in that the physician recruitment site we developed for Southwestern Vermont Medical Center won an Outstanding Achievement in the Interactive Media Awards.   From the IMA site:

Our judges evaluate websites based on five criteria: Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance. To win an IMA your site must excel in each criterion, rise above your competitors’ sites and deserve to be a top choice for your target market.

Our judges love new adventures. They love exploring websites and are always on the hunt for jaw-dropping perfection. Astonish us with your talent, creativity, innovation, attention to detail and overall professionalism.

What so unusual about this award is that this site is the first hospital site ever to win an IMA Award.

Groundbreaking sites?  That’s par for the course at MedTouch.

Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center Are Both Honored By Their Peers At the Greystone.Net Client Conference Held Last Month

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MedTouch, a leading provider of interactive, web-based solutions for health care organizations, announced two key clients - Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center - were presented with awards for best web site design at the Fifth Annual Greystone.Net Client Conference, held last month in Las Vegas, NV.

Brooks and Montefiore, both clients of MedTouch, were selected as winners for sites that embody the strategic vision of their organization, exceed expectations of visitors to the sites, and are leaders in terms of innovation, design, content and functionality. Brooks won in the category for providers with less than 400 beds; Montefiore was selected among providers with more than 400 beds. An independent panel selected winners and the sites were rated based on a standard of excellence and how they compared with others in their group classification.

“We work closely with all of our clients to ensure the design as well as the functionality of their web sites are built to meet the needs of the populations they serve as well as their corporate goals,” said Paul Griffiths, CEO of MedTouch. “We are thrilled to see Brooks and Montefiore recognized by their peers for their success.”

Brooks Rehabilitation is comprised of a rehabilitation hospital, outpatient rehabilitation network, and health and fitness center in Jacksonville, Florida, dedicated to treating adults and children with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke and other disabling conditions. Montefiore Medical Center, located in the Bronx, New York, is the University Hospital and Academic Medical Center for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
